Unfortunately 1 or 2 faults made my experience of Matthew less than desirable. Upon arriving at my house to give a valuation, Matthew didn't introduce himself, instead just said that he would be in shortly to look around. Upon entering the property his shoes remained firmly on his feet. This wouldn't normally be too much of an issue, but given the time of year and the April showers and because he had been walking around taking pictures of the outside of the property his shoes were covered in mud. Our hallway is tiled, so i assumed he would take them off before entering the living-room. I was mistaken, muddy footprints were left on the carpet. When he left the living-room he noticed the footprints and asked for a mat to wipe his feet, i said that he would have to take his shoes off in order not to get muddy footprints through the rest of the house - but this request seemed to go unacknowledged as he continued upstairs and into every bedroom. It's the little things sometimes, no introduction and muddy shoes was enough for me to be unable to recommend his services, unfortunately despite everything else seeming relatively professional.
